Who we are

A Wiltshire IT disposal business, founded December 2024

Terraguard collects, wipes and reuses retired business IT so it re-enters the economy instead of becoming waste. We operate from our own facility at Aldbourne, near Marlborough, and collect nationwide.

We started Terraguard by pulling together a combined 80+ years in the IT industry, aimed at one problem: most of what happens to retired IT equipment protects neither the data on it nor the planet it's made from. Reuse comes first here, not last. Working machines are refurbished and redistributed to schools, charities and non-profits rather than shredded by default, so a client's disposal job doubles as a measurable contribution to somebody else's sustainability target.

~95% Of what we collect is reused or repurposed rather than recycled, though it varies collection to collection.

138kg CO2 saved every time we repair and reuse a laptop rather than it being replaced — about the same as driving 350 miles.
