The certification
Proof you can check, not a promise
What ADISA is
ADISA Certification is a UK certification body that specialises in data sanitisation and IT asset disposal. It has certified companies in this field since 2010, and it keeps a public register of every company it certifies, so anyone can check a claim.
When we qualified
We became ADISA ITAD Essentials Certified at Silver level in October 2026, after a two-day independent audit of how we collect, track, secure and erase retired IT. It is a goal we have worked towards since we started in 2024.
What it means for you
If you are the person getting old laptops, servers and phones out of the building, you now have independent proof that your data is protected. That runs from the moment our team loads the van to the moment each drive is erased or destroyed. You don’t have to take our word for it.
It sits alongside our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 certifications. And because we erase and refurbish what we collect so someone else can use it, it shows that a reuse-first approach and strict data security can run as one process.
“This has been our goal since the day we started. It took a long time and a huge amount of effort from the whole team, and we believe it opens doors for our business. Thank you to everyone at Terraguard, to ADISA, and to the clients who supported us in our journey.”

In Natalie’s words
We’re incredibly proud to be awarded this certification. When you’re trusted with erasing data from businesses’ retired IT equipment, having independent verification of how secure your processes are goes a long way in demonstrating the strength of your service.
